Get Involved

One of the best ways to grow in Christ is by "getting involved" in serving. Serving God and others is vital to our spiritual growth. First, serving, glorifies God. It also allows others see the love of God through your diligent service. This opens the door for us to share all Jesus offers them through his sacrifice on the cross. Finally, serving others helps us build our spiritual muscles by using our spiritual gifts. God says,

"God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to service one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have a gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring flory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen." I Peter 4:10-11
